Mazhar Zorlu Holding has been in the services industry for several years with an aim to enhance the quality of life of Turkish people.

The Holding established its own hotel in 1993. Hotel Ege Palas is located in the central district of Alsancak in Izmir. The twenty one storey building has a fantastic vista of the Izmir Bay and incorporates a shopping mall.

The Holding is also active in the fields of tourism and insurance. In 1989, the company Ege Insurance was established and became the agency of the following insurance groups; Halk Sigorta, Demir Sigorta, Emek Sigorta and Commercial Union.

Mazhar Zorlu who is responsible for the construction of many prestigious buildings in Izmir succeeded in completing yet another one which has become the symbol of the City. The four star Hotel Ege Palas was opened up in 1993 and is operated by Ege Turizm Isletmeleri A.S, the tourism firm of the Holding.

The hotel enhances the social, touristic and economic potential of Izmir and is located in the busy district of Alsancak. The hotel has 112 luxury rooms spread over twenty one stories and has a beautiful view of the Bay of Izmir. The hotel incorporates a shopping mall with 30 shops which can be entered from two different streets.

Ege Palas is one of the most refined hotels in town offering conference, meeting and banquet halls, bars, swimming pool, coffee shop, fitness center and a sauna.
